{G r a t i t u d e * S u n d a y :: Sunday’s heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitude.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…Waking up in time to get to the airport even though our alarm clock didn’t go off. (Time for a new alarm clock!)
.
…My suitcase being under the weight limit so I didn’t have to pay extra. (It was close, though. Only four pounds away, yikes!)
.
…Making it to our next flight on time even though our plane was delayed. Phew.
.
…A kind man switching seats with us on the plane so Bracken could have a window seat. We were so grateful.
.
…The good feeling of arriving in Florida at last and being with my mom and grandma after such a long day of travel. (Waking up before three o’clock followed by three plane rides made for a long day indeed.)
.
…My mom and grandma giving me a gold ring that belonged my great-great grandmother. It fits perfectly and feels so good to wear, I treasure it.
.
…Making a conscious effort to breathe more deeply. It’s easier to do when you’re on vacation, so I figured it would be the perfect time to begin that habit.
.
…Beginning our first morning in Florida by the pool, and having my mom serve us a delicious breakfast there, bless her heart. Swimming every day sounds very good to me.
.
…Eating fresh seafood and drinking coconut water. It was the first time I had them together and they made a wonderful combination, I must say.
.
…Entering a world of sunshine and blooming flowers in the wintertime! It feels magical and we are fully soaking it up.
