{G r a t i t u d e * S u n d a y :: Sunday’s heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitude.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…Pink salmonberry flowers blooming in the woods, and seeing some of the berries starting to form.
.
…Movement. A walk. And bringing in firewood.
.
…Good books. They are the best, aren’t they?
.
…Bracken cooking the spinach for our breakfast while I made the ground pork, and then serving it with the broccoli sprouts that Jeff grew. A team effort meal.
.
…Two drivers going out of their way to be kind and motion for me to go ahead of them. There were quite a few considerate drivers that day and I sure appreciated that.
.
…Helping Jeff get all the starts thinned in the greenhouse. I can hardly believe seeds are being planted and it will be garden season once more!
.
…My sister and brother-in-law having the best day ever with a new house and a new job, all in one day! I’m so happy for them.
.
…Watching I Love Lucy at the end of the day and laughing like crazy. (I had seen maybe one episode before and I’m glad to be finally watching more, it’s delightful.)
.
…Clay face masks. They feel amazing, and refreshing, and I really need to do them more often.
.
…Bracken’s excitement over his first loose tooth (!), and wanting to call family to share the news and then going around and showing our friends at the market yesterday.

Thank you for sharing your gratitude list…it always
encourages me to be grateful and thankful for the small
and ordinary blessings in daily life….true treasures we take
for granted. I love to watch I Love Lucy! They are so funny and
fun to see life in the fifties……
