This morning I headed down to the chicken coop to gather eggs. Chuckles the rooster decided to greet me in grand fashion. He waited until I was almost to the door to the chicken yard and then flew up to the entrance over the door with a big TA-DA! Luckily I happened to have my camera so I got these quick shots. As for keeping the chickens in their yard- apparently Chuckles and our hen Chickadee need to have their wings clipped because no fence is keeping them in, no matter how high- they had a taste for that sweet free ranging life and that’s where they want to be.
