-Waking up fully rested from a deep night sleep
-A cozy home day with the gentle rain outside
-Enjoying eating the fresh Nettles I harvested yesterday
-Eating home-canned peaches and frozen blueberries from a local farm, topped with luscious cream from our neighbor’s cow……. I wondered if I was in heaven?
-The satisfaction of cleaning
-Spending hours in the kitchen creating all kinds of nourishing foods
-Seeing the two new beach stone pendants that Jeff carved in his shop
-Making a sale on etsy
-Bringing a load of firewood into the house that was filled with sap and smelled delicious
-Hiking through the forest and up the mountain in the refreshing rain, with the dogs by my side
-Discovering that sometimes the cure for feeling tired is moving your body in nature, breathing in the fresh wind and letting the earth regenerate you
-Loading a new item on etsy
-Receiving a delivery of flowers from Bruce and my Mom, congratulating us on the baby. So nice to have a gorgeous bouquet of flowers in the house, especially this time of year
-Daffodils blooming in the front yard, covered in raindrops
-Knowing that every nutritious thing I eat is nourishing the sweet baby growing within me
-The love I feel for Jeff each and every day, the way he brings so much Joy and Laughter to my heart
-Tonight is Friday Night Movie Night….looking forward to watching a movie with Jeff in our jamis. And tonight we get an extra special treat because our neighbors just started selling butter (I bought some) and we are going to put it on our popcorn! Very excited!

What are the many blessings in your life today?
Lara,
hahaha I know! We are so on the same wavelength with the daffodil pictures and nettle harvesting! π
Thanks for sharing what your grateful for. You paint a beautiful picture with your words. It’s one of your gifts, indeed! π
I love this photo! Great minds and lovers of nature are on the same wavelength this week π
I am grateful for the warm woodstove, the sunshine streaming through our old glass windows, the little nettle patch I planted with rhizomes from the woods, the daffodils coming up all over our field, and lovely colorful wool to create with!
Jessica,
Thanks so much for sharing!! I LOVE hearing what other people are grateful for.
Reading this brought a HUGE smile to my face!! π

I feel so blessed as well!
I wake up every morning next to the man that I love, in a warm bed, with a roof that I own over my head. I have hot water for showers, food in the fridge, a car in the driveway, and a job to go to every day that is enough to pay the bills.
When we put things in perspective and think about all of the things we have that many in this world will never have, we are truly blessed.
I’m trying a new recipe in the crock pot today…I’m blessed with endless optimism in the kitchen. π
