Tomorrow morning Jeff is taking me to the train station in Eugene and I will take the train up to Portland. Then I’ll walk to the MAX Light Rail and ride it to the Airport. I love Portland’s transportation system, it makes it so easy to get around. At the Airport, I will be patiently (yeah right) awaiting the arrival of my mom- Julie, sister- Samantha, and my sister’s boyfriend- Thomas. I am so excited to see them! We’re going to stay in Portland until Tuesday morning. Then we’ll head back down to my place. Sam and Thomas are going to stay Tuesday night at my Dad and Dorrie’s place in Grants Pass and we’ll pick them back up in Eugene on Wednesday. Jeff will be here, being his wonderful self, creating in his workshop, and taking care of the animals. (Bless him!)
I’ve got the house super duper clean and all ready for family. I’ve got the refrigerator filled with good food so Jeff will have some easy meals ready while I’m gone (he doesn’t remember to eat as often when I’m not around so I figure this will encourage him.) I’m packing my bags and getting some delicious food packed for my train ride. What do I love about riding the train? Eating food and reading books, of course. 🙂
I will not be posting on here for a few days because I know I’m gonna be pretty busy. I’ll miss all of you! Have a great weekend!
Thank you Jessica! 🙂
Carlanda, glad you’ve experienced the joy of the train! It can be quite the adventure. Thank you for offering to save your magazines for me, but I am not vegetarian and perhaps someone else would get more use out of them?
