My face feels warm from the sunshine it soaked up today. And let me tell you, it’s just what I needed. It’s been pouring buckets around here lately and I’ve been yearning for some time outside. Yesterday I went on a mountain hike in the rain and it was fantastic. Every time I go outside, I remember how good my body feels in nature. Nature time is a must for me to feel healthy. A high priority for my body’s needs. Not only my body, but my spirit too.
Today the sun started shining and Jeff and I decided to work on projects. We hauled a truckload of firewood into the house, raked and cleaned the front yard, and then got to work on the greenhouse. And guess what? We got the roof on the greenhouse today! We made so much progress and it felt so good. We breathed in the fresh air, moved our muscles, soaked up Vitamin D like a couple of sponges, and smiled at the view of all we’d accomplished.
There’s still more work to do on the greenhouse, but we’re getting really close to finishing it. I stand back and I can already envision little sprouts popping up all over in there. I took these pictures late in the day, when it started getting cloudy. The top one is the roof of the greenhouse from the inside and the bottom picture is Jeff up on the ladder….. can you tell he likes building things?

You and Jeff are going to have the most beautiful greenhouse ever! I’m loving the photo updates on his blog too. I’m getting really inspired for our own greenhouse plans!
