We started heating up a pot of water, then Jeff and I both started throwing in ingredients….
…some miso for a yummy miso broth
…leftover brown rice
..a handful of chives from the garden
…tender spring kale
…deep green seaweed
…a few eggs from the ladies
…just a tad of slippery elm
…bright orange carrots
…freshly grated ginger
..a little garlic
….tasty turmeric
..just a smidgen of cayenne
And wa-lah! You have the perfect soup to eat on a rainy day!
