Banana
Homemade Peanut Butter
and Raisins
Yum!
Whenever I eat these, they taste like dessert! Can they really be so good?
I love nut butters on celery and apples. Jeff taught me about spreading them on bananas. Wow! Carob chips in place of raisins make a very decadent treat as well.
In this picture, my homemade peanut butter was difficult to spread because I took it straight out of the refrigerator. It needs to be out at room temperature for a little while to be easily spreadable. I’ll post the recipe for delicious nut butters soon.

dw- Are you on facebook? If so, friend me and let me know who you are. That will be a really great way for us to communicate and the format will be easier to answer your question above. Let me know if you are on facebook and we can go from there.

This has nothing to do with this post, however I couldn’t figure out another way to ask you. I’ve got some questions about using raw milk. Could you post some recipes & info? A lot of the websites I’ve searched are vague or have different information.
What I want to know is, how can I use milk that has soured, especially once it has soured so much it has separated naturally from the whey? I have a half a gallon of milk in my fridge that is about 6 weeks old & clearly separated. I also have another half gallon that is about 10 days old & sour but not yet separated. I’ve tried using them in pancakes but they taste too sour for our liking. I hate to throw it away! Any ideas?
I found a recipe for Tvorog, a Russian farmer’s cheese. http://yulinkacooks.blogspot.com/2006/04/how-to-make-tvorog-farmers-cheese.html Could I use this recipe but not cook it since it is already separated?
