Today the outdoors were calling me. I awoke to sunshine that quickly turned to heavy rain. The weather kept switching back and forth, but I had already made up my mind. I needed to be outside.
So Jeff and I headed to the greenhouse. And that is what is so wonderful about a greenhouse. If it’s pouring down rain, but you still need your garden fix, you can be in the greenhouse to your heart’s content (and be pleasantly warm while you’re at it.)
We made a lot of progress in there today. We put up a shelf and table for organizing garden stuff. Set up an area with dirt and pots for planting. We watered our starts and decided which seeds we still need to plant. I began referring to the greenhouse as “Jeff and Taryn’s Clubhouse” because that’s just what it felt like- our own little place to play. A spot all our own to create something beautiful.
We worked for hours- now the greenhouse is transformed. And I feel satisfied. It’s just what I needed today.
