On Sunday, we took a break from all our busy doings and gave ourselves a big treat- clay time! We’ve begun an annual tradition at the Wilson home. Every summer we have what we call a ‘Clay Day!’ It usually happens towards the end of summer when we feel fall coming. That’s when Clay Day starts to dance around in our imaginations and beckon to us like a cool river on a hot day.
So what exactly is a Clay Day? Well, you get some powdered clay and mix it with water. This time we used French Green Clay and White Bentonite. Then you go outside and cover yourself with it. Lay in the sun. Soak up the warmth. Be in Bliss.
That pretty much sums it up.
It’s fantastic and I highly recommend it.
Then spray yourself off with the garden hose and you will feel like a whole new person.
So revitalized!
Here is what I wrote about our Clay Day last year:

(Doesn’t it just look like fun?!)

Thanks Lara! 🙂 I highly recommend it. River and Rosemary would probably love it, especially will their big pool to rinse off in afterwards!
