Our end of September days have been beautifully full. 

We’ve pulled up quite a few things in the garden now, but many plants are still going strong in this heat we’ve had lately. Jeff saved a lot of seed for next year. We’re already talking about our favorites that we want to plant in the garden again. This week garden harvests came into the house by the buckets, which made for a busy kitchen- filled with good food. We’ve kept the dehydrator busy drying herbs- stevia (pictured above), basil and parsley. There are still so many more to harvest and dry. The pantry is filled with brightly colored jars and the freezer fills up more by the day. 

I love fall.
