Yesterday flowers were blooming in the front yard (nasturtiums, fuchsias, primroses) and the chickens were happily on garden clean up duty, which they enjoy every fall.
This morning we woke up to snow!
We were surprised to say the least. This is the most snow we’ve ever seen here. The sun came out a little and started melting it.
The fuchsias are still blooming.
The chickens are still enjoying themselves.
And the view is breathtaking.
Now we can see everywhere the chickens have been….
Abby- where did you live when you were a kid?
Kelly- Thanks so much! I’m so glad. 🙂
Lara- I’m going to visit your blog and check out your snow post. Missing you!
I love your snow pictures! We must have been on the same wavelength, because I made a snow post too! Our chickens are being chicken, though, and didn’t want to venture out. They hung around the coop. Happy Thanksgiving and Holiday Market and much love to your family!
The fuschia through the snow is such a beautiful picture. Just found your blog & am really enjoying it!
It was exciting, wasn’t it? We were surprised too. I love snow, and miss it sometimes living here. As a kid we had FEET of snow each year. The best play, for hours a day.
