-Awaking from a lucid dream where I was wiggling my toes in the warm, fluffy sand with glee like a little kid
-Watching the chickens happily peruse the yard
-Seeing the goat’s bellies grow
(and knowing we will have some cute baby goats in the spring)
-Bracken being all cozy & warm- wearing the alpaca hat I knitted for him and the wool & alpaca sweater our friend from market knitted for him
-A warm fire in the woodstove on a chilly day
-Receiving Holiday Cards in the mail & gifts for Bracken
-An abundance of good food in our home
(I start craving sweet potatoes & winter squash when it gets cold.
And lately I’ve been craving raw carrots too.
Apparently I have intense cravings even when I’m not pregnant.)
-Bracken greeting Jeff and I with huge smiles and laughter
(the feeling we get from it is beyond words- how can our hearts feel so full?)
-Learning and growing and living LIFE! What a gift.
-A husband and son that fill my heart with joy every day
-Taking a few moments to slow down despite our incredibly busy schedule getting ready for the final five days of Holiday Market
-Seeing all the incredibly beautiful creations emerging from Jeff’s workshop
-Remembering to say Thanks
I could keep going and going………
Pictures taken with our (very sleepy at the time) boy.
Simple moments can bring extraordinary joy.
What are you grateful for today?
When you pay attention to the blessings in your life each and every day,
you’ll continue to notice more all the time.
A grateful heart is a happy heart!
