What is it about Sundays?
Something about Sundays feels…. Special. Cozy. Quiet. Peaceful. You know what I mean?
Sundays are a good day to look back at the past week and reflect on everything that happened that you feel grateful for.
Gratitude keeps us centered in our hearts.
It’s the key to living a magical life.
Today I felt grateful for a SUN-day and for our “sun picnic” in the living room (a name I made up for finding a sunny spot, spreading a blanket out, and laying in it.) I felt grateful that we love our “work” so much that even though we said we were going to take a Sunday off, we excitedly worked on wood buttons, Etsy pictures, and dyeing our new cotton product bags with walnut powder.
This past week I’ve been feeling grateful that we have a healthy, happy baby and that breastfeeding has been going so well. I’m grateful for a husband who pours so much love into our life. I’m grateful for an abundance of good food. For each and every sale on Etsy. I could go on and on.
Right now I’m grateful to be hanging out with Bracken while I write this and hear Jeff eating sunflower seeds while he reads his book next to us. (And Bracken’s getting ready for bed so it’s time to wind this up.)
My point is
Today is Sunday
Take the time to look at your life
Slow down
Pay attention to all the little things
each and every day
that you just pass by without a second thought
even the tiniest things
to be grateful for
things you tend to forget to appreciate
Can you think of a few?
Be in Gratitude
There is so much to be grateful for…..
Thank you. 🙂
