When the three of us ventured outside on this sunny February day, a few surprises awaited us!
Jeff looked at the ground and spotted
The very first crocus!
Bright, brilliant yellow.
This tiny, tiny flower just seemed to radiate pure joy.
What a beautiful gift this time of year.
It even had little raindrops on it.
Then we saw the first Camelia also!
What a surprise, seeing these beauties today.
The Camelia was
White with a heavenly light illuminating the petals.
Light from above
Shining down abundantly
Let’s all soak that up, shall we?
There are so many little things for us to appreciate
Each and every day
We just need to take the time to
Notice them
What beauty have you noticed today?

Abby- I’m so excited about the blueberry bushes budding up too! 🙂
The gift of living at the coast with flowers all winter long- how sweet!

We have our first crocuses coming up too. A purple surprise among all the lush green and brown. The blueberry bushes are budding up, and the fruit trees too. And our nasturtiums and calendula are STILL flowering, all winter long. It’s fun to see this post, as I spent some time today wandering around our yard just taking notice of all the changes happening. So many! So exciting.
