~Felted Soap~
Have any of you ever tried felted soap before? (She also calls it soap in a scarf, which I think is so cute!) I tried felted soap for the first time this winter, compliments of Moon Root Soaps. It is amazing! Now Jeff and I are hooked (seriously, we gotta have it for bath time!)
Here is what Christelle says about her felted soap:
“A washcloth and soap all in one! I wrap my organic soap with all natural wool that I card and process myself. No chemical dyes EVER! The colored felted bars are made with wool naturally dyed by me, using plants like madder root and osage bark. Wool is anti-fungal, so it never gets moldy and will stay fresh in the shower. Felting soap makes the bar last longer, and the wool shrinks as you use it. After the soap is all used up, you have a little yummy smelling pouch. I like to throw them in my drawers to make them smell nice.”
The scents available in her felted soap are: Patchouli (brown wool), Clary Sage (brown wool), Lavender (grey wool), Citrus (yellow wool), Rosewood (red wool), and Aloe Vera (white wool).
~Body Butter~
All the scents available smell so yummy! Fresh and pure, you’ll want them all!

Here is what Christelle says about her body butter:
“Made with organic oils, this body butter is super moisturizing and great for sensitive skin. My friends and I use it for many different reasons- for dry hands, dry hair, rubbing on pregnant bellies, etc.”
The scents available in her body butter are: Chocolate, Orange Cocoa, Lavender Mint, Geranium Rosewood, and Patchouli Lemongrass.

YAY! I just received all my goodies in the mail from Moon Root Soaps that I purchased on ETSY! One of our favorites is the Doogie soap…it works wonderful even on our kitties!

I love lavender and rosemary soaps, but the almond ginger caught my eye/nose!
I would love to try all of the felted soaps! Ah clary sage is a wonderful medicinal herb/scent…but rosewood sounds really nice…
And body butter i feel a bit more decisive about lavender mint!

a) I have only tried the Lavendar Groves Armoatic Mist that my sister bought me, but I am drooling over just about everything on the etsy shop!
b) lavendar, lemongrass, & eucalyptus are my favorite smells, but I’d be up for any good combo with lavendar or lemongrass involved!
All the products look so yummy. But I really like the patchouli hemp soap, as well as the lavender body butter.
As far as the felted soaps go, I’d love the patchouli one.
Taryn, thank you for the connection to moon root soap! I love the laundry soap, the patchouli is lovely. I also like the idea of the felted soap you have me convinced it would be a nice change to just a bar! Geranium Rosewood would be a wonderful body butter!

Taryn, I took your advice from an earlier post and purchase some of the laundry soap. Oh my! it is so lovely! It made the job of doing laundry for a family of five so pleasant! I love the felted soap, although I have never tried it, it sounds great. I recently also ordered the body butter, it is amazing as well. I love the smells, they are so pure and clean. I am grateful to have found a local source of such nice soaps and body butters. Thank you for this giveaway! I bet anything would be fabulous.

I think all of her soaps sound luxurious….especially bergamot spice!
I would love to try the Aloe Vera soap and the patchouli lemongrass butter…..I have naturally curly hair and especially enjoy lemon products in my hair….and I think a little of her butter would make my dry hair shine. π

Favorite is geranium rosewood felted soap! I love that it’s a washcloth too! Favorite flavors for both are geranium rosewood. Just getting into natural dyes myself so I’m so happy to see her doing it! K
Loving the easy store. I will have to pick up some of those wonderful products. I am a huge fan of the scent of patchouli and would love a soap and body butter in the patchouli and patchouli lemongrass scent.

Well my favorite thing in her shop would have to be the shaving sets, they are lovely and what a lovely gift they would make for my husband or Papa.

I like the simple but elegant packaging of these soaps. I think the almond ginger root soap sounds great, and also like the sound of the orange cocoa body butter. Great choices of scents!

The laundry detergent sounds like a fabulous idea! And I’m a big fan of patchouli soaps so felt me up one of those bad boys! And the body butter would be great in a sandlewood or sage scent.
