Warm, sweet smelling milky breath
Tiny fingers clasping mine
Little fists rubbing tired eyes
Gentle breathing against my cheek
Arms wrapped around me
Soft skin against mine
The wonderful scent of hair and… everything
Plump little legs kicking in excitement
Laughter that bursts all hearts open wide
The glee expressed in tiny toes, stretching out in contentment
Warm little body snuggling up against me in the night
Pursed lips making nursing movements during sleep
Face filled with peace that sweet dreams bring
A presence so sweet and angelic
Soft skin against mine
The wonderful scent of hair and… everything
Plump little legs kicking in excitement
Laughter that bursts all hearts open wide
The glee expressed in tiny toes, stretching out in contentment
Warm little body snuggling up against me in the night
Pursed lips making nursing movements during sleep
Face filled with peace that sweet dreams bring
A presence so sweet and angelic
Eyes full of wonder at a world so fresh
Smiles that light up my whole world
Being a mama is the greatest joy my heart has ever known.
Each and every moment is a sacred, precious gift.

so cute…and yes, each and every moment ist sacred.
my youngest “baby” is three, the others five, nine and twelve and twelve years ago I decided to quit my work and stay at home with our children and live a very simple life.
For us it was the right decision.
It would have been broken my heart to do my children in a day care or so.
enjoy your baby- bracken, he will grow so fast

What wonderful memories you bring back with this post, my youngest “baby” is 16, I have two grandbabies now. Thanks for reminding me of that precious time. I always tell new moms to enjoy every minute, it seems like you truly do.
