To report back, sunflower sprouts are yummy! We’ve really been enjoying them on salads. Here is afternoon light shining on them in the kitchen window. We always made our sprouts in glass jars, but recently we experimented making sprouts a different way. We put them in a stainless steel colander (fine mesh) and rinse them with water regularly. I like this new method.

I started doing some of my sprouts that way some time back as well. Thanks for letting us know about the sunflower sprouts. I will be sure to pick some seeds up on my next shopping trip!
