-Our bed being underneath the window, so when I wake up in the middle of the night, on the clear nights, I can see the most incredible sky full of twinkling stars.
-Our truck up and running again! Really really thankful for that! (And the help from our neighbor for making that happen.)
-Some rainy days that watered the garden. Making the roots so happy and giving us a break from watering.
-Watching Bracken enjoy butternut squash for the first time. He loved it. It’s so fun to watch his facial expressions whenever he tries a new food.
-Enjoying one of my new favorite words- Empowered. Whenever I start feeling discouraged, sorry for myself or start falling into being a “victim”, I quickly ask myself ‘How can I be empowered in this situation?’ It’s amazing how it inspires me to take action and turns things around!
-Bracken turning 9 months old on Thursday. My sister, Samantha, made the point that he’s now been in the world as long as he was in my belly.
-Trusting that things would work out when we were feeling stressed about money due to unexpected truck costs. It always does.
-Trades that bless us with good food. It makes us feel rich! We’ve learned that you can feel mighty rich without having much “money.”
-Having the courage to let things go when they no longer serve us, even when change is hard.
-Being inside on a cozy, rainy day today. With sleeping Bracken in one arm. A napping husband. A chicken in the crockpot. A quiet house. I love Sundays.
You are amazing with your words! Your gratitude makes me grateful, it is a circle of joy! I loved also the question regarding empowerment, thank you for that perspective! Congrats on that gorgous babes 9th marker! wow, he is beautiful, and your husband looks blissful carrying him! A good pair…..I also love a quiet home, filled to the brim with life and blessings that aren’t about $
Isn’t rain such a blessing, and having a rainy inside day? I love them.
Of course I love your list as usual! Incredible Bracken is 9 mos. old!!
I especially loved your sentence “How can I be empowered in this situation?” — Huge!!! That really resonated.

Hi Taryn! I love gratitude Sunday, and here’s my list too. Thanks also for the great food tips. I always seem to find myself fiddling about with food when the children most need me, and cutting down the prep time especially will free up so much more time for us. Thanks!
I love your blessings Taryn.
Shine on beautiful lady!
