I love the fresh, raw foods that this time of year brings!
Here’s our salad we enjoyed today.
–Lettuce from the backyard, covered in summer rain.
–Raspberries and Strawberries fresh from farmer’s market.
–Goat Summer Sausage from free-range goats at Deck Family Farm.
–Carrots from farmer’s market, all sweet and crunchy.
–Avocados from our neighboring state (California.)
–Homemade Dressing with
olive oil, sauerkraut juice (from Jeff’s homemade sauerkraut), mustard powder, kelp powder, nutritional yeast, and himalayan crystal salt.
We savored it!
What do you like on your summer salads?
I love the wooden spoon! When it comes to a summer salad, I especially enjoy raspberries so tart it makes my face pinch up! 🙂
Mmmm such a tempting food photo! We enjoyed a restaurant salad last night as part of our “date night” without the kids (this is a very rare occurrence!) – baby greens, walnuts, dried cranberries, goat cheese with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing. We loved it so much we plan to replicate it at home 🙂
This sure looks good Tara! I’m 10 weeks pregnant and nothing has been looking to good to me as of lately and that salad sure does!
Thanks for sharing!
I love our tomatoes that are starting to ripe, with boiled green beans, boiled eggs and boiled potatoes, serve warm..this salad I love to make is heavenly 🙂
hugs from Italy!
