Remember those new bracelets I mentioned?
Here is a peek at one. I snapped a photo as we were loading up the truck for market tomorrow. It’s inlaid lapis lazuli stone in local, reclaimed spalted birdseye maple burl wood. The design is the Love Knot (the symbol for eternal love) with four interwoven hearts- one facing in each direction.
Jeff and I have been giving a few bracelets a test run and they are so comfortable! They have adjustable cotton cords, and with the polished wood you don’t even know you’re wearing them. We only have a few in our booth for this weekend, but we have been overflowing with inspiration for more to make.
It’s been such a very busy week and I’ve hardly been near the computer at all. It has been a week of changes around here, which I will share with you soon. The week started out cloudy and rainy, then today was bright and sunny. I watered the garden extra good (so we don’t need to water in the morning before market.) I have a feeling the garden will start taking off now that we are getting sun. Other areas have been complaining about heat waves, but we certainly haven’t had that here. We are ready for summer!
And we’re ready for market tomorrow. Truck is all packed up.
Now it’s time for Bracken and I to take a bath. Then the three of us will curl up for Friday Night Movie Night and eat some dessert (something with frozen raspberries, perhaps?) I hope we all sleep like logs tonight because we are exhausted from all our hard work lately and need to be fully rested for market.

How amazing! I have been selling stuff on Craigslist with the hope that I might use some of the money for a Mystic Orb original…but how will I ever choose?!?
