Many of you locals know it’s time for Oregon Country Fair!
I was planning on going this year (wanting to finally meet Krista of Deva Luna in person!) but upon further reflection (including realizing our incredibly busy schedule) I decided it wasn’t in the cards for us to go to Fair this year. We are hoping to make it next year.

If you are planning on going to Fair this next weekend, you’ll have the opportunity to visit Krista’s booth! If you mention that you are a Wooly Moss Roots reader, she will even give you a free gift! (How sweet is that?)
Here is what Krista has to say about Fair:
Hello folks!
Every year I have a booth at the Oregon Country Fair up north in the trees of Veneta, Oregon where I sell lots of goodies: cards and stickers, prints of all sizes, lots of small original paintings, some altar pieces and a few large pieces. If you live in Oregon, you may know the Fair has been happening since 1969. I call it a kaleidoscopic jubilation of joyful self-expression, a celebration of art, music, poetry, theater, dance, creativity and innovation, community and the planet. It is really something special that words cannot describe.
You can find out more about it at Oregon Country Fair. Always the second weekend in July, this year the celebration unfolds on July 8, 9 and 10. If any of you wonderful folks are in the area then and are attending, please come by the booth. I would love to say hi. If you mention Taryn’s blog, you can pick out a free card. Deva Luna Booth # 68 is between Gypsy Caravan (where you can see internationally acclaimed bellydancing) and Energy Park (where you can explore the latest innovations in solar, wind and green technologies). I have a little picture commentary about the Fair on my website.
Hope to see some of you there!

Even though I have been super sick the past week with extreme morning sickness, which is all day vomiting, I still want to tough it out and go to the fair on Sunday. Am I crazy? I just can’t stand to miss it, the people and creative energy of the OCF feeds my my soul every year. There is nothing else like it!

Oooh, so great! I’ll definitely be stopping by. I’m working a friends booth. I just adore the OCF – sorry you can’t make it this year Taryn!
I also wanted to shout out a giant thank you for your comment on my latest post! It’s so funny you say you had a feeling it was just one. I too had an incredibly strong feeling since the minute I found out I was pregnant that it was just one, even with my long family history of twins. I believe his or her spirit is strong, like you said, and it truly means so much to me to hear someone else say that. Thank you for your words – you are a positive and wonderful soul.
Thanks again dear, xo,
April

Oh! The Oregon Country fair is one of my favorite things in the whole wide world! Now that I live on the east coast, I think the last time I made it was 2008 and it was just as magical as ever. And what a beautiful booth!
