I just went out in mine this morning and found an almost ripe cantaloupe!! I was so thrilled to see it. And there are some smaller ones. Then I dug up one hill of sweet potatoes and got 7 big ones!! Also picked 2 rows of okra. I will pickle the smaller ones and freeze the rest. And picked the last 8 ears of Silver Queen corn. I am slowly pulling up the old stalks and giving them to my corn stalk loving cow Mazie and her calf Chuck. They are loving them. Also got a mess of runner beans for dinner. Mine is winding down and I am getting ready for the fall garden. Gotta have some collards. Enjoy all your goodies! They are so pretty and green.
