-A surprise poppy blooming in the garden. What a sight!
–
-Realizing as we got in the truck to run errands on Monday, that I hadn’t been in it since the previous Tuesday, almost a whole week. It felt so good to have that grounded home time, I needed it.
–
-Healing and my face starting to look like myself again.
–
-Bracken saying mama and dada!
–
-Feeling so inspired, energetic, and on the flow. There’s been lots of movement around here and that feels good.
–
-Making several successful batches of applesauce. Remember the Smoky Apple Wine post from last fall when I was all big and pregnant and burned all the applesauce? (That wine never did turn out by the way.) I’m still an applesauce-maker-in-progress, so discovering a new method for making it was awesome. (I got a request from Evi, a reader in Greece, to post how we make applesauce. That post is in the works.)
–
-Checking out this link from a reader named Jen about storing fruits and vegetables without plastic. Great reference.
–
-The feeling of my feet against the cool earth and realizing how important it is to connect to the earth in that way.
–
-Seeing how big our grape starts have gotten! They are really thriving (and need to be put in bigger pots soon!)
–
-Making hard boiled eggs and remembering how much I love them chopped up on salads and having around for snacks.
–
-Reading every night before bed and enjoying my library books. The quiet time to wind down regenerates me.
–
-Trades at market yesterday that blessed us with strawberries to put in the freezer and fresh vegetables to eat.
–
-A heartfully satisfying conversation with Jeff last night. Isn’t there something so fun about laying awake in bed a little later than usual and talking with someone you love?

Hi Taryn,
What a nice list.
I’m glad you got to take a break from going places in the car, to just be home. I know how good that feels too.
I love this new phase of feeling excited and inspired! Isn’t this awesome?! Loving it, as you are.
Being barefoot! Isn’t it divine!
I always forget about hardboiled eggs!!! Ah! Thanks for the reminder!
Heartfelt conversations are so enriching and satisfying! I love talking & giggling in bed…it feels like a sleepover with your best friend!!! 🙂
And wow, Bracken is talking!!
I SO love hearing what you’ve been up to. 🙂
Here’s my list for this week:
