We chose this gorgeous piece of local, reclaimed, fiddleback maple. Look at the ripples in the grain! This wood is simply luminous.
We’ve been enjoying creating carved magnets with inspirational sayings on them. Some people have told us what they would like to see on our magnets. We love the ideas. We’d like to ask all of you!
To Enter Giveaway:

(Some have expressed discomfort at leaving their full name. That’s fine, you don’t need to, just make it so I can distinguish you from another person with the same first name, when I announce the winner.)

(Keep in mind, there is limited space- 3 inches wide-, so keep your words or phrase short. You can choose a favorite word, phrase, a name, a date that is special to you… let your imagination go wild! If you need some inspiration, check out our shop for some ideas. What if you have lots of ideas? Feel free to share them all! We’ll ask the winner for their final choice later.)

LOVE this giveaway! What a wonderful idea; words are so powerful. I always think about that rhyme, and change it to: “stick & stones may break my bones…but words will REALLY hurt me”!! And therefore the opposite is true too… words can heal!

I would love to have “Be The Change” carved on some jewelery.
I work at the Boys and Girls Club here in the project in Thomson. Our whole world every day is about inspiring these children to change their lives for the better. This year we a record number of 152 children (so far) to try to encourage to change and I will promote that change any way that I can. Any way I can get the message across will be seized. We are making some great changes this year and with great change come great responsibilities but we are up to it!
