The garlic is planted!
We planted them in pots to start with. Tonight they’re getting a nice soaking with rainwater. Since we feel we’re getting them planted a little late this year, we’ll bring them indoors to start, then move them to the greenhouse, then plant them in the ground in the garden.
We eat a lot of garlic in our home and it will be so nice to grow our own.

Aja- Roasted garlic sounds soooo good to me right now!! π
Trish- Garlic breath is a regular occurrence around here. π I have not grown elephant garlic before. Jeff has grown elephant garlic and regular garlic and had good success with both. Wish I had some tips to share. Maybe I will after I get some experience. π

I love garlic…but not sure my patients do! I try not to eat it if I’m at work the next day.( shame that)Have you ever tried elephant garlic? My garlic growing wasn’t successful last time I tried to grow it. Maybe it is time to try again!xxx

Oooh yum. I roasted a ton of garlic cloves last night to bring to my herbal training graduation party today – they will be tasty, but my fingers smell quite strongly still π
