You all know how excited we’ve been about our Magical Healing Salve, with how much I’ve been talking about it on here! And I mentioned that we had some other salves in the works. We are happy to announce our next salve- Magical Relieving Salve– is now available in our shop!

How is our Relieving Salve different than our Healing Salve?

Our Healing Salve is good for cuts, scrapes, burns and bites (good for baby’s bottoms too!) It has a comforting smell of beeswax, lavender and tea tree.

Our Relieving Salve (available as of today!) is good for aches, pains, joints and bruises. It’s great for rubbing on muscles before and after exercise also. It has a refreshing smell of wintergreen and peppermint.

Once again, we had fun designing the label together. This time we used a picture I took of comfrey in our garden, with afternoon light illuminating it. 

The color of the salve is a nice green color, just like our first salve, with all the garden herbs we used. 

Here’s the ingredients:

 Organic herbs from our garden: Comfrey and St.John’s Wort. Other Natural Ingredients: Organic Coconut Oil, Beeswax, Propolis (both from local beekeepers), Infused Arnica Oil (in Olive Oil.) Essential Oils: Cajuput, Wintergreen, Camphor, Tea Tree, Peppermint, and Cinnamon.

We’ve been wanting some lower priced items in our booth and online shop for a long time now, but every time we start creating something to be more “affordable”, we end up putting so much time and energy into what we make that it’s hard to get the price down. We have a rack of $20 pendants (inlay stone in wood and some carvings)  in our booth that have been our lowest priced items. And we kept brainstorming to bring the price down farther. We wanted something to offer for people to be able to buy affordable, yet lovingly made, gifts. We had the inspiration to start creating herbal salves and realized that it could also be an opportunity to fulfill that goal.

Now, we are so happy to have our salves available for $12. With all the incredible ingredients and everything we put into making them, we feel it’s a really great deal. We feel so good about them and being able to offer them. We hope our herbal salves will be really popular for the holidays, since they make great affordable gifts and are a nice small size for stocking stuffers. Plus, it’s something everyone could use.
