It felt good to be back at Saturday Market yesterday. We loved seeing bright happy faces of friends. The weather was gorgeous. We had our Deck Family Farm CSA to pick up, which always feels like Christmas. We traded for a bounty of delicious vegetables, that made me nearly giddy inside. (I get giddy over food, which I’m sure you already know from reading this blog.) We packed lots of food so we enjoyed good meals and snacks throughout the day. Sales were slow, but we sold some of our new salve, so that made us really excited. I do believe that was our last market we’ll be attending until Holiday Market. We have so much to do to get ready for that!
I was grateful that our day flowed smoothly and that Bracken fell asleep for his morning nap right after we finished setting up the booth. Sometimes he gets distracted from napping, but he loves market so much more after a nice refreshing nap!
Is there anything more precious and angelic than a sleeping baby?
Jeff took this picture of Bracken and I in the booth. It’s fun to see pictures of our booth over the years because our booth is continually changing so much.
We were so excited to have our salve out for sale!
And here are the magnets on the new magnet display board! We’re loving it.
Another view.
I’m wearing my Mystic Orb here. Jeff carved that necklace for me for Valentine’s Day. It has a green turquoise stone in the center that he cut and shaped. Then it’s set in a piece of reclaimed mountain mahogany wood, carved to look like roots. The colors… everything about it, speaks to my soul. I love wearing it.
I spotted a few others wearing their Mystic Orb at market too (some pictures are from a few weeks ago and the others are from yesterday.)
Taylor wearing her carved tree pendant in local, reclaimed spalted birdseye maple burl wood.
Christelle wearing her necklace with turquoise set in a myrtle root burl.
Deb wearing her goddess pendant with inlaid lapis lazuli, in a piece of antique ivory from a game reserve.
Chris wearing his raven pendant with inlaid lapis lazuli in spalted birdseye maple burl.

So fun to see people wearing their Mystic Orb around market!
(If you are in another location, you can always e-mail me a picture wearing yours.)
Yes, that was a good October market.
And now to prepare for Holiday Market!
Bracken is so precious!
Thanks everyone!
