Isn’t it amazing how much time so many of us spend at the sink? π
Shannon- Daydreaming helps so many tasks, doesn’t it? π
April- I am so happy for you that your vision came true!!
Trish- Yep, it’s an aloe vera. Honestly, it’s been rather neglected, but it’s hung in there for years and years. They are wonderful plants to have around. We have a much bigger and healthier one in the living room.
Lindsey- I agree that having the dishes done makes life feel more in control. When life feels stressful, I like to clean!
Coleen- Thanks! This time of year the tree out front is more beautiful than ever!
Beautiful view outside! I spend a lot of time looking out mine, as well. The first time we looked at the house I had this reoccuring vision of me pregnant, looking out the kitchen window to the forest. It finally came true and I love every minute of it.
I spend a lot of time at mine, too and it’s actually identical to yours (old cast iron with double dish drains)!! (even has a window looking out over our backyard and woods) π
Ah yes, unfortunately my current sink has no window or view and it sure makes the hours we spend on dishes most dismal. I love the beautiful autumn colours you have there. Dishes are so much easier to tackle when you can day dream!

That’s funny, when life gets stressful I like to clean, too. When I’m angry, too, cleaning is therapeutic. I call it “cleaning up my anger.”
And every time I have a clean house, I’m re-amazed at how much it improves my mood.
π hehe!
Love to you,
Lindsey

I LOVE this! So homey. That’s a neat old sink. What luck to have a window right there… I wish I had the same. Your dishes look like ours! π
I love a clean kitchen sink area too. It just makes life seem more in control when the dishes are done, and the sink is clean! Heehee!
Sending love your way on this November Thursday!
Love
Lindsey
