Remember I told you I would show you some of our handmade wooden buttons on some children’s clothes our friend Kim makes?
Kim, of Watermelon Kidz, makes adorable clothes for kids (and just happens to be the maker of Bracken’s very favorite pair of pants.) I brought some of her clothes outside, at Holiday Market on Sunday, since the natural lighting was much better for picture taking. (Thanks to our booth neighbor Lara for holding the clothes up for me to take pictures of!)

A Jacket she made. Completed with some Myrtlewood Buttons.
Love these! (Excuse a few slightly blurry photos where the lighting was a little funny.)
Completed with some Sassafras Buttons.
A Corduroy Jacket
With more of those beloved Sassafras Buttons!
The back of another Jacket. I love the patchwork she does.
And speaking of button love, our friend Christelle, of Moon Root Soaps, just finished knitting this green sweater for her boyfriend Pat, and completed it with some Sassafras Buttons. Everyone was oohing and aahing over the sweater at market, it was so fun to watch it’s progress (she finished it so fast.)
.
Love seeing the Button Love!

Watermelon Kidz clothing is so sweet & I love the natural colours. Your buttons are absolutely incredible, I cannot wait to adorn my handknits with them.
PS Cristelle’s sweater for her partner looks so beautiful & cozy.
