Busy around here. Market starts this Saturday!
So far the weather forecast looks good (keeping fingers crossed.) Our wooden market booth is officially up in the middle of our living room. We’ve been putting it off because the living room is the one room in the house where Bracken can roam freely and having a giant booth set up in there reduces his roaming space, but it was finally time to set it up. We are working on a new arrangement in our booth, as usual. We’re getting really excited for market. To share all the hard work of our hands with the world, to see friends!!, and to wander down the colorful rows at farmer’s market….
We’ve got a lot to do to get ready.
.
Happy Monday to you friends.

Hi Taryn and Jeff,
I’m from France and I’m sorry, my english is not very well… I just discovered your blog and that of your husband and I really like what you do both and your lifestyle… We have some similarities, I love felting wool too (with water and soap), sewing, woodworking (although this is still quite rudimentary, I cut just a little with a knife)… I too have a blog if you want to take a look… Your birth story really touched me, I too have given birth at home for my two children and I’m pregnant for the third must also be born in our house … Your shop has inspired me and I would like to place a special order if it is possible for the birth of my baby, a wooden pendant that I wear during delivery … I have some ideas on the ground, I will tell more if you accept my order … :o) I hope you managed to understand my poor English…
Hope to read you soon, Noémie
Your wares are so beautiful! There must be so much joy in preparing for a market…one of my favourite summer traditions. Have always dreamed of vending but have never done it! Best of the season to you!
