Here are some pictures from our market booth the past two weekends.
This is from the weekend before last. We had two garden signs out front and put some $12 magnets out front too.
Yep, the thrifted pizza pan was back in action. (I keep declaring we’re done with it and then it comes in handy again.)
This last weekend we had a lot more garden signs and a lot more magnets too.
And lots of yummy lip balm.
Yep, that’s a new purse. (I’ll show more pictures of that soon.)
Always more to do on our display (like better tags for our essential oil perfumes, but these work for now.) Market is rewarding in so many ways and it’s also a lot of work. A lot of work. On occasion people come into our booth and talk about our things like we aren’t there, “__ dollars for this?!” or “I don’t like that.” But most of the time people come into our booth and share kind words. Sometimes people look a little deeper and say “How in the world do you find the time do all of this? With a toddler to care for? A garden? A homestead? An online business?….” Sometimes we want to hug those people. Just because they appreciate how very hard we work to do what we do and bring it to the market each Saturday. And sometimes they say it on a day when we were feeling a little discouraged (don’t all artists from time to time?) and needed a little extra validation that what we’re doing means something to those around us.
Thanks to all of you who support us there. Who share your kind words and encouragement. (And not just at market, but in this space too!) It makes more of a difference than you know.

P.S. My sister Samantha and her fiance Thomas are getting married next summer. Since they are not able to afford a honeymoon (hello student loans!), they entered a contest to win their dream honeymoon. If you would like to vote for them and help them win, you can vote here. (You can vote once per day for the duration of the contest and you can read their sweet proposal story there too.)
