Today I’m joining Nicole’s Keep Calm Craft On, on Frontier Dreams blog, sharing what I’m crafting.

When I opened my eyes one morning, recently, inspiration came flooding in to make some greeting cards with buttons on them. I thought “what a fun way to give buttons as a gift!” So during one of Bracken’s naps I set to work. I got some watercolor paper, drew my design with pencil (having each button be the center of a flower), then painted the blue background with watercolors. When the paint was dry, I colored the green stems with colored pencils. I tied on the buttons. Then I stood back to take a look, saying “I like these!” 

I’ve made two so far and posted them in the shop.

 I’m looking forward to making more! I’ve got a lot of ideas for these….
