I took these next two pictures when we got home late this afternoon, from our adventure.
(More on that tomorrow.)
I finished reading ‘Put Your Heart in Your Mouth’ by Natasha Campbell McBride. (She also wrote ‘Gut and Psychology Syndrome’ which inspired the healing diet our family is currently on.) I must say that her health information is so refreshing to me and I agree with so much of what she says. I’m so grateful to her for the information she is sharing with the world. It’s been so helpful for our family and so many others.
Then I started reading ‘Stitch N’ Bitch: The Knitter’s Handbook’ by Debbie Stoller from the library. This is definitely the book I have been needing in my knitting world! I know how to knit, I know how to purl, but I don’t know how to read patterns (etc.) This book is answering so many questions I had. This book is so good that I need to get my own copy so I can have it on hand.
.
So, friends, what’s happening in your knitting and reading worlds?

I am still knitting that simple cowl. It’s a soothing, easy knit. I keep thinking of which buttons I will attach to it when it’s finished. That part always excites me. I took the two pictures above, on our way home from Saturday Market, to show what my knitting time is like (riding in the truck.)
