Bracken and Jeff have been having so much fun with the dandelion fluffs in the yard. Now when I walk around the place, I’m on the lookout for more to add to their fun. Today, in the autumn afternoon light, I captured some pictures of their new activity. Above, Jeff’s holding the dandelion. It struck me that all this blowing will be good practice for Bracken’s birthday candles, which will be coming soon (on the 14th.)
“See Mom!”
Look of concentration while blowing.
Still working at it. (This was a tough one.)
“What’s up with this one?”
(He did get it right after this picture, and he was very proud.)
This picture is by Jeff. He layed on his back in the grass, and took a picture while he blew the little seeds up to the sky. He says they look like little faeries dancing. I agree.

That was our much-needed break today, amidst much activity lately. We went to market the first two weekends in September, then missed three in a row. We’ve been working on some wholesale orders, which we’ve been really grateful for, that have been requiring our attention and focus. Tomorrow, though, we will be back at the Eugene Saturday Market. You can find us in booth 350. Jeff had a brilliant idea for a new earring display and magnet board, which we’re excited about. I’m looking forward to seeing how it all comes together and I’ll be bringing along our camera so we can get some pictures of the changes in our booth.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend and looking forward to seeing some of you at market tomorrow.

P.S. Jeff and I have been reading your comments from yesterday’s post. How delightful to get to know some of you better and to meet others of you for the first time. As I was reading, tears came to my eyes, I was so touched by all you were sharing. What a lovely bunch you are. Thank you for taking the time to share.
