-Going through my “unfinished projects” in my craft space and finishing something. As I get those projects done, it helps clear the way for making new things.
.
-Warm and cozy inside with my loves while it’s chilly outside.
.
-The satisfaction Jeff and I both feel after getting lots of new things posted in our shops.
.
-Breaks in the rain to go outside for a bit. (And the rainy weather helping us get caught up indoors.)
.
-Going with the flow when a day didn’t go as planned (and Bracken didn’t take a nap.) The not-according-to-plan day turned into a good one.
.
-Living out in the country, yet having neighbors nearby and only being a few miles down the road from the post office.
.
-Loving wearing wool and feeling how incredibly healing, protective, and magical it is. I know wool lovers know just what I mean.
.
-Getting more comfortable in my own skin, all the time.
.
-A grass-fed lamb patty. Eating lamb (our very favorite meat) is a rare treat, so it’s very appreciated.
.
-Finishing my very first project with my own handspun yarn. That felt wonderful.
.
-Making a nourishing soup for my family and sitting down to enjoy it together at the end of a long day. It was simple, but delicious. Homemade beef bone broth, egg yolks, carrots, celery, and herbs.
.
-The sweet surprise of a card in the mail from my sister.
.
-Sitting in the grass with bare feet, knitting in the sunshine. There was a sunny day with moments of incredible warmth, which felt so good amidst the colder weather we’ve been having. Bracken played, Jeff layed on the earth, and I knit. I’m so glad we took a break to seize that gorgeous moment.
.
-Lanolin on my hands (and making my knitting needles so nice) as I knit with my handspun yarn.
.
-Counting my blessings on challenging days, which brings a new perspective to things.
.
-Getting into a new rhythm with the changing season, a little more each day.
.
-Jeff bringing me something to eat when my blood sugar was low. My hero, time and time again.
.
-Getting gung-ho on laundry and seeing that giant pile shrinking.
.
-Watching Bracken go in front of the mirror with a smile on his face and dancing the goofiest little jig.
