There’s been a lot of rain lately. Most of the time it’s been pouring. But yesterday and today we had some moments of sunshine poking through the clouds. I had a basket full of new buttons that needed to be photographed for the Etsy Shop and some wool creations (and that walnut cowl.) Bracken and I headed outside. He wasn’t interested in the basket of buttons or the pictures I was taking. He headed straight for a bucket of water with his watering can and other fun outdoor things he’d left there to find later. He got busy watering while I took pictures.

 Sometimes he sticks his tongue out when he’s concentrating. I love that.

Truth be told, life has been pretty darn chaotic around here lately. We needed those moments of peace out in the fresh air. I reminded myself to breathe deep and to slow down, even if only for a few moments.
