-The woodburner that our market friend Theresa gifted us over the summer. Jeff has used it on some of our magnets and it looks great.

-My mom putting in her notice at work and getting ready to move to Florida. I’m so happy for her!!

-Trying kelp noodles for the first time and loving them. They’re so good. (Thanks to our market friend Joanna for sharing them with us!)

-Seeing Bracken so excited over the snow.

-Jeff making the most incredible homemade “ice cream.” He took coconut milk, frozen blueberries, and a little bit of raw honey and blended them in the food processor. It was a hit around here, for sure.

-Running into our dear friend at the grocery store. Seeing her face, even for only a few moments, was so nice.

-Receiving holiday cards in the mail.

-Returning all my library books and feeling a sense of relief without the pile (waiting to be read) by the bed.

-Jeff making homemade bubble solution for Bracken. (Bracken discovered bubbles at market for the first time and they are his new favorite thing.)

-Finding a cashmere sweater for Jeff at the thrift store that fits him perfectly! Our friend Abby told us how wonderful cashmere feels to wear and gifted me a sweater awhile back. It was so heavenly, I’ve been on the lookout for one for Jeff ever since. He loves it.

-Bracken’s new fort he claimed in the living room where he likes to play hide and seek.

-How pretty the mountains look covered in snow.

-My sister calling me right at a moment when I needed to be uplifted. Her friendly voice did just that.
.
-Writing with my new pen! (I’m okay with sounding dorky- a pen that’s fun to write with is a very exciting thing!)

-The soulfulness of handmade things. Going around market lately, I’ve been appreciating how special handmade things are.
