-Bracken smelling like rose all day after we washed with rose soap. Every time I went to kiss his head, I was met with the most wonderful scent.

-Going to sweep the living room (after firewood was brought in) and seeing that Jeff had already done it.

-Making us a dinner of “spaghetti” with kelp noodles, sauteed onions, ground beef and pork, and bone broth sauce. It’s fun to experiment with new recipes (especially when they turn out yummy.)

-Bracken dancing around the living room for us, being completely happy about having both mama and dada’s complete attention at the same time.

-Bracken saying “mama” in the sweetest way. I already thought he had the sweetest angelic voice, but when he says mama I completely melt into a puddle. What a love.

-Waking up in the middle of the night, listening to the rain falling and to Jeff and Bracken’s peaceful breathing in their sleep.

-Pointing out the zit forming on my face and having Jeff say: “looks like a beauty mark to me.” What a good husband.

-Everyone who has joined our new group on Ravelry so far and added their projects!

-Our friend Aja having her homebirth go well and welcoming her daughter Viela into the world. Our family loved seeing the picture of her precious face.

-The sound of windchimes in the garden on a windy night.

-How much better gas mileage our new car gets!

-Happy tears while watching a sweet love story movie, and being married to someone who can’t make it through watching something so heartwarming with dry eyes either. We look over at each other and kind of laugh, because well, we’re quite predictable when it comes to those things.

-The look on Bracken’s face when he woke up to snow. His excitement was so fun to see.
.
-A peaceful moment: standing in the rain, wrapped in wool, listening to the river, watching Bracken play, and admiring the snow on the mountains.
