We’ve had some sunny days, which has made this woodland boy very happy. (Well, actually, he likes to be outside all the time no matter the weather, but when the sun is shining this mama stays outside much longer then when it’s pouring rain.) I love watching him: completely immersed in what he’s doing, focused, and entirely in the moment.
A sweet look captured (and a container with sand.)
After I finished taking pictures for Etsy (held in those baskets in the background), I took pictures of Bracken while he played.
He picked some of the last fuchsia flowers still on the bush.
One of his favorite silly faces to make (eyes closed, face squished up, tongue out.)
(Handmade outfit by Watermelon Kidz.)
(These pants are actually longer, but I rolled them up along the top so the bottoms wouldn’t get all wet as he ran around playing.)
More fun with sand.
Mixing his fuchsia flowers in with the sand.
Adding some water to his blend.
Giving it a stir with his finger.
This watering can is still one of Bracken’s favorite things.
Making faces to melt his mama’s heart.
And off goes the hat.
By that time it was early afternoon and he was tuckered out. So inside went this woodland boy, where he took a nice little nap.
