Joining Ginny’s Yarn Along, sharing what I’m knitting and reading.
.
I took these pictures in our living room yesterday, in our laundry basket in fact. I was so glad there was some good light coming in through the windows because I wasn’t up for going out in the cold to get a picture. I’m still working on the Milo vest for Bracken, but didn’t get much knitting done this past week, since I did most of the driving whenever we went to town. (And as you know, car rides are when I do most of my knitting.)
I finished reading ‘Sarah’s Seasons.’ Reading it made me really excited about gardening this year and has renewed my dreaming of all the things we’d like to plant here.
Then I was craving a beloved book I’ve read at least twice by now (probably more), called ‘The Answer Is Simple… Love Yourself, Live Your Spirit’ by Sonia Choquette. There are times I crave Sonia’s books, when I need to do something kind for my Spirit. Her words comfort me and bring me peace. I know I’ve written about this before, but her books inspire me so much and have had a huge impact on my life.
Here is a quote I love from the beginning of this book:
“The first thing I’ve learned is that life is school.
We’re here to discover how to overcome circumstances and create,
with what we’re given, the lives we really want.”
.
How about you? Knitting? Reading?
