Joining Ginny’s Yarn Along, sharing what I’m knitting and reading.
.
This week my knitting has lots of blue. I finally put some buttons on the blue merino cowl I finished. (Pictures below.) Whenever our family is on a car ride, you can find me knitting on Bracken’s Milo. Bracken knows I’m making him a shirt, he often points to my knitting and then to his shirt. While taking these pictures yesterday for the Yarn Along, Bracken gently held the partially finished vest up to his chest. It was so sweet and I took some pictures of him showing his soon-to-be vest. I thought ‘does this inspire a mama to knit, or what?!’ You can see we had some beautiful sunshine yesterday and it’s sunny again today (good because I have lots of pictures to take for our Etsy Shops.)
I am still reading ‘Sarah’s Seasons’ from last week.

Here is the finished cowl:
Notes on the cowl:
Yarn from Brambleberry Yarns: organic merino naturally dyed with indigo and turmeric.
WoolyMossRoots Buttons: reclaimed black walnut burl wood.
