Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
-Watching the kale growing in the garden, that Jeff planted in the fall. Looks like we are going to have a good spring crop of kale!
.
-Each time I got some quiet time to myself during Bracken’s naps. What a gift to my Spirit! There are days with no nap, so I don’t take it for granted!
.
-Having just enough light coming through the window to be able to read my book one morning before Bracken woke up for the day.
.
-Jeff and Bracken having fun in the garden together while I had a short while with the house to myself to get some things done.
.
-Looking out the window at just the right moment to witness a big, beautiful rainbow stretching across the sky.
.
-Appreciating that I trusted my intuition about something, since it later made sense. I love when my intuition is affirmed later and makes me so glad I followed it.
.
-Stopping to smell the hyacinth flowers blooming outside the grocery store. Mmm.
.
-Catching the mistake in my knitting before I’d gone too far and being able to go back and fix it. Then figuring out something in my knitting all by myself. With each new knitting pattern I follow, I challenge myself and learn something new.
.
-Waking up in the night to the sound of the rain. That sound felt so comforting to me.
.
-Going outside and walking… moving… breathing.
.
-Getting a cord of firewood for a good deal. I think it will last us through the rest of the season. We’re grateful it’s the only cord we had to buy this year, since we got most of our firewood from our own yard.
.
-Bracken helping me put all the laundry away. He wants to help with everything and I love it.
.
-Jeff helping me with more graphics. I’ve been adding more recipes & tutorials along the left side of my blog, which is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. Yay!
.
-Kind comments on my blog that really touch my heart and bring joy to my day.
.
-Bracken getting a postcard in the mail, from his market friend on vacation in Hawaii. He was so excited.
.
-My sister calling. Just the sound of her voice was such a gift.
.
-Staying awake with Jeff after Bracken fell asleep and talking and talking. We hadn’t done that in awhile and it reminded me how much I love it.
