Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
-Some of our blueberries being loaded with little white blossoms. That is a very good sign for the blueberry season to come!
.
-Having so much fun with our friends, celebrating Jeff’s birthday.

.
-Jeff oiling the hinges on our bedroom door so it stopped squeaking every time we opened it. (That darn squeaky door had woken up Bracken quite a few times. How nice to have it open silently now.)
.
-Lots of time spent in the kitchen with Bracken, making good food. Hardboiled eggs. Broth. Nut Butter. Muffins. And soups and scrambles and more. I love nourishing my family with delicious meals and having a little helper so interested in it all.
.
-How fresh it felt outside after a rain.
.
-Having a magical dream where I found wild mushrooms (chantrelles and the largest morels I’ve ever seen in my life) growing all over our yard and was harvesting loads of them. I woke up saying “that was a good omen!”
.
-Bracken kissing my head when I said my head hurt. What a sweetie.
.
-Being able to fit some wood we needed for the chicken coop in our car.
.
-Bracken requesting music making and dancing, then asking for “moh” (more) again and again. We drummed and danced and sang and it was a lot of fun.
.
-Two people writing to say that they enjoyed the Banana Nut Muffins and that they were a hit with their families.
.
-My mom calling while she was traveling out of the country. I wasn’t expecting her to call and it was such a nice surprise to hear her voice, it made me so happy.
.
-Music motivating things around here. Just turn on the music and get moving! It works magic.
.
-Bracken happily playing at the kitchen sink while I made meals. (The hard part is getting him to ever leave the sink. He loves playing with the water so much.)
.
-Our family’s Friday Night Movie Night and eating frozen blueberries.
