Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
-Our plum tree being happier than I’ve ever seen it, covered in more little white blossoms than ever before. (Amazing what a little pruning can do, though it could still use much more.)
.
-A steady rain outside while being cozy inside.

-Meals together as a family. It’s a time I look forward to every day.
.
-The smell of frankincense. Jeff burned some this week and it reminded me how much I love it.
.
-A few quiet moments to write down my gratitudes at the end of the day.
.
-Thinning the tray of cabbage starts in the greenhouse. So much more thinning to do, but one tray at a time is how it happens.
.
-Going outside for a “breather” and fresh air when we needed it. What a difference it made.
.
-Fresh sunflower sprouts. Bracken has been helping water them every day and they were a welcome green addition to our meal.
.
-Eating mint leaves in the garden. We all have a favorite mint plant out back and the flavor is so incredibly refreshing.
.
-A day with sunshine + bare feet + blue skies.
.
-Breakfast made to music. Before we knew it, we were all dancing. Making our meal took much longer, but it was so fun.
.
-Spending one of Bracken’s naps knitting and reading. I’m so grateful I gave myself the gift of time to unwind when I really needed it that day.
.
-Gorgeous weather at market yesterday. What a nice surprise!
.
-Watching Bracken interact with people at market. He was so bright and brought so many people smiles. Watching it filled my heart.
.
-A few trades at market that made my day! Bracken was so excited about his new pants he insisted on putting them on right away.
