-Little blue borage flowers that the bees love.

-Juicing our own celery from the garden, and eating it in soups too.

-Discovering that you can eat broccoli greens! So awesome since we have a lot in our garden.

-Tackling some big messes around the house and the house feeling so much better after some major cleaning.

-Spending a long time watering in the evening while Bracken enjoyed himself around the yard (and came over often to help.) Bare feet and warm breezes made for some lovely evenings.
.
-Guacamole for dinner. We had a late lunch and weren’t that hungry for dinner, some guacamole hit the spot. (And I love the way Bracken says guacamole, it’s incredibly adorable.)
.
-Community connections. Seeing people around town that we know, we enjoy that small town feel.

-Getting to spend some time with Mary Lou when she came over.

-The incredible inspirations Jeff has in the kitchen. I feel so lucky to be eating them!

-Short drives to the post office and back with an opportunity to knit a little.

-Fast-drying laundry on hot days.

-Bracken drawing with sidewalk chalk up our front walkway.

-Mornings with gentle breezes and wind chimes singing.

-Trying octopus for the first time. Happily, I liked it!

-Garden harvests. Lettuce. Kale. Zucchini. Celery. Broccoli. Chard. Fresh herbs.

-Daily blackberry picking led by a passionate little berry lover.

-Discovering that our chickens escaped out of their yard shortly after the fact, so they didn’t do any damage to the garden.
