This is what I’ve been up to during most of Bracken’s nap times lately. His daily nap finds me organizing buttons on a thrifted cookie sheet (it works great for laying them all out and the edges keep the buttons from sliding off) and then tying them on cards. Yesterday, I took a break from that to get caught up posting some new buttons in the shop. I posted eleven new sets and I have much more to go. I have plenty of buttons to keep me busy for awhile. I told my mom I’m in “the button zone” (or something along those lines.)
This gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the process. Soon I want to show the transformation from a piece of rough wood to these polished gems of buttons that Jeff creates. Jeff made such a variety this time and it’s really a delight for me to arrange the buttons in families on cards. I look at each set and imagine all the wonderful handmade projects they can be a part of.
We’re getting ready for market this weekend.
Jeff has been creating up a storm and we’ve both been busy getting it all ready.
