-A very kind woman getting me in at the end of the day at the DMV (even staying a few minutes late) so I didn’t have to drive back on another day.
.
-How healing it felt to swim in the river.
.
-Blackberry picking with friends. Blackberry picking in the sprinkling rain. Blackberry picking every day.
.
-Progress finishing up some projects in the chicken coop. It felt really satisfying.
.
-Feeling inspired to harvest in the garden, which made me inspired to make meals.
.
-Looking back at {this moment} posts on my blog and having my heart fill up seeing pictures of Bracken as a baby. Makes me glad I blog regularly because I can look back and reminisce.
.
-Waking up and going outside first thing- to let the chickens out of the coop, pick blackberries, and harvest in the garden. A wonderful way to start the day.
.
-Fresh sprouts with all our meals. So flavorful. So delicious.
.
-No rain when we were setting up our booth or taking it down at market yesterday, and that the rain that did come throughout the day didn’t get our things too wet. It seemed surprisingly mild amidst the thunderstorm warnings.
.
-That rough mornings can transform into good days when you keep doing your best to have a good attitude.
.
-Making new friends at farmer’s market. Great conversations and collaborations. Something that’s so great about market- the way it brings the community together and so much networking can happen.
.
-Stopping by a favorite farm on the way home from market and having them still be open. It’s become a family tradition to make stops there on our trips to Eugene and back and we always thank them for growing so much good food!
