…Knitting…
On Friday night I was trying to figure out a new cast on method so I could work on a new knitting project during market on Saturday. I watched this video quite a few times before I sort of got the hang of it. (Sort of because I’m sure I’ll need to watch it again next time I do it.) After getting the provisional cast on figured out, I made quite a bit of progress on the Clyde Bonnet by Liz of The Sitting Tree. I’m knitting it for Bracken in blue and will do a border in brown. The yarn is from our friends at Timberwolf Farm and was naturally dyed with woad to make the lovely blue color. I got a lot of knitting done on Saturday and then knitted a little bit on our road trip (but not much because I wanted to see all the new sights.)
…Reading…
I’m still reading Unconditional Parenting. Like I said last week, the points made in the book make a lot of sense to me. It’s a lot to process and I’m sure I’ll be digesting it for some time. After reading all the things not to do, I was really anxious to get to the part of the book that offered some positive solutions for what to do. That’s the part I’m at now and I’m looking forward to reading more.

Oh yeah, I took some pictures of the cabled headband I finished for our friend. I added some WoolyMossRoots Buttons in reclaimed sassafras wood and I’m really happy with how it turned out.
How about you?
