We’re going to pick my mom up from the airport tomorrow. She is dedicated to being here for Bracken’s birthday each year and we’re so grateful for that. Having Grandma Julie visit makes Bracken so excited and makes his birthday so special. I’ve been getting extra cleaning done around here. I do the basics on a daily basis, but when she visits it’s a good excuse to get some deeper cleaning done. Today I went around the house like a whirlwind getting things all cleaned up (there’s still a bit left to do.) While I was sweeping underneath the couches (with the footrests up) I expected to find some interesting treasures from Bracken, but I found one I didn’t expect. An entire strip of bacon! I found that absolutely hilarious and showed Jeff. You just never know what you’ll find under your couch with a toddler in the mix! 

I’ve been getting some last minute birthday presents finished up and getting as caught up as I can on my work so I can spend the weekend with my mom while she’s here. I can’t wait!
